In addition to the regular events, Boulevard House offered space for local organizations to host events. University of Michigan kicked off its new programming stint with a dinner which celebrated and introduced the women featured in Museo El Norte’s exhibit to the SSW Community Scholars. That was followed by an open community dessert buffet, which also included the featured exhibit.
The Time Bank also celebrated a milestone in-house.
And a local group organized an extensive fundraiser for Caravana43. These pictures are of the silent auction items arranged before the storm: the event attracted over 300 people and featured music, food, spoken word and more.
