Thank you to everyone who attended and helped organize. It was a great turn-out and a productive start with our new tools!
Well… *cough* New tools. I made a novice mistake I’m embarrassed about: I missed a step in the template settings and so Zoom did not record the meeting for replay. I blame Zorro (my dog), but he reminds me he has no opposable thumbs. TBH, a cat probably would have sorted it out. My apologies and this will be corrected for future remote sessions.
We are also currently hunting for an open source option which is free and has fewer restrictions than Teams or Zoom with free use. You will always get the information you need to participate, whatever platform we experiment with.
In the meantime, please take a look at our traditional (draft) minutes. If you have a strong exception to any framing or something missed, please email me directly so that I can update it. I think that I am also missing someone on the attendee list who was on the video call (she spoke about communication and notice process; resident of 6 yrs): if that’s you, please let me know your name. Same if I’ve misspelled your name. Several attendees called in (no video) and chose not to announce themselves, so they are not be represented in the head count.
Also, if you did not receive emails leading up to this meeting, please send to me your email address. Several lists are being used out there, with some variability. On the other hand, if you are on that list, you won’t get this, so I will also physically notice everyone with an online document.
I have broken attendees out by relationship. If I’ve gotten it wrong, please send me the correction. None of these are a scarlet letter, just administrative housekeeping. I personally want a highly engaged base, however you are affiliated. Long tenure renting residents, like Lew and Cherie Hylton, are cornerstones in our community.
