May 2015 Salon – "Vacant, but not Empty"

In 2015, we launch our salon calendar.  Each salon is thematically aligned and includes a gallery opening with reception, facilitated discussions break-out sessions, and, when the weather allows, outdoor performances.  All are welcome to attend.

This salon launch examines social equity in Detroit through the lens of land use and blight policy.
 6:00pm – 11:00pm
Exhibit by Ryan Marshall, architect, and other contributors
 6:30pm –  8:00pm  
Facilitated fishbowl on social policy around the Detroit Land Bank and blight removal strategies
 8:15pm – 10:30pm
Film and discussion
Other activities and opportunities to engage with community.

Event is free.  Crudite and snacks served.
Beverages available for a donation at the door.
